The Master's in Aerospace Engineering (MEAer) at NOVA FCT addresses the challenges of a constantly evolving sector, combining technological innovation, sustainability, and space exploration.
With two specialization areas — Avionics Systems and Aerospace Mechanics — this master's program offers a solid, multidisciplinary, and highly hands-on education. Students gain advanced skills in aerodynamics, propulsion, structures, control, and navigation, with access to cutting-edge lab equipment, including wind tunnels, UAVs, cryogenic vacuum chambers, robotics, and microwave systems.
The training is provided by experienced professors and recognized researchers from the Departments of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at NOVA FCT. It also benefits from national and international collaborations with leading universities such as TU Delft, Sorbonne, Carnegie Mellon, UT Austin, among others.
This master's is designed for graduates in engineering, physics, or related fields, as well as candidates with relevant academic or professional experience.
