Electronics

The subjects of the Electronics subarea have as their main objective to provide students of Electrical and Computer Engineering with a solid and specialized basic training in the area of discrete electronics and microelectronics.

The Electronics I course allows students to receive basic training in terms of existing electronic devices and their modes of operation in order to allow them to design, implement and test circuits with the level of complexity equivalent to a multi-stage operational amplifier using discrete components. In Electronics II, concepts related to questions of frequency response, feedback, stability and amplifier compensation are presented.

In the advanced electronics subjects, namely in Electronics III and Electronics IV, adequate training is given in order to provide students who opt for a specialized training in electronics to be able to carry out analog electronics engineering projects within the scope of current Industry requirements.
